Bad usb port Honda Civic lx?

I just got my Honda Civic about a month ago and whenever I plug my iPhone usb cable it says that USB port is bad and to check the owners manual. Before it would only work when it wanted to but now it just doesn't work at all and the Manual doesn't say Anything about how to fix it.

Hi so you will need a honda dealer to fit a replacement part.

Try a different cable. The wires inside most USB cables are very thin and can be easily broken if handled roughly.

  • Will this Pioneer head unit fit in my 2005 Honda Civic EX? I just bought a 2005 Honda Civic EX as my first car and wanted to get a better set up where I could hook my iPhone up to. I was looking at this Pioneer head unit and was wondering if it would fit in the car. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/CD-Receivers/DEH-X6500BT If it would fit, how much would it cost to install? I'm 16 and can't install it myself unfortunately, so I would need to pay somebody to do it.
  • Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?
