Bad wireless connection in one room of house?

So my router is downstairs across the house and it connects to the whole house wirelessly. However, my room has a problem. My laptop is constantly at a 1 or 2 bars. My iPhone doesn't connect to Wi-Fi. And my ps3 doesn't sign in. However, the room directly across of mine has alittle better connection then mine. I've been told many things to solve this: Range extenders, High gain antennas, and many more. Can you tell me what to buy from amazon? Links will be much appreciated.

  • Windows 7 laptop wireless connection problem I restored my computer a day ago because it was bringing the blue screen of death. After the restore, when I logged on and tried to connect to the internet it says no network connection. "The laptop will access the internet with a wired connection only. It now indicates there are no wireless networks to join even though" there's a modem in my house which i can connect to through my iphone.

I have a 4G iPhone 5 that I just got today but my iPhones Wi-Fi is slower in my house rather than outside of my house such as a restaurant or a store. Also my house has Wi-Fi for my laptop and other devices in my house. Any idea why this is? The connection isn't terribly slow buts its noticeably slower.
  • Why can I only connect to Wi-Fi when I'm in one specific room? I have the iPhone 4 iOS 7.0.4. I've bought it used through somebody. But ever since I bought it I was only able to connect to Wi-Fi in one room in my house which is the room my Wi-Fi is set up in. If I go into any other room it will slowly get weaker signal and disconnect itself from the Wi-Fi. But everyone one else in my house is able to connect to the same Wi-Fi all throughout the house. I've tried resetting it but it didn't do anything.
