Best digital camera for selfies?

I'm looking at different cameras. I barely know a thing about photography. But on Instagram I keep seeing all these Instagram famous girls' selfies. For instance @saschapr. And they're flawless. Yes, I realized that they are touched up with photoshop. But whatever they use for their selfies obviously isn't an iphone camera. And the digital camera I do have doesn't take pics like that. It looks like they're taking selfies with professional cameras.
can someone please tell me what kinds of cameras they're using? They look gorgeous and I'd love to have a camera like that.
lol I realize it's kinda vain to be looking for a camera just for the selfies. So if that's all you gotta say to me, I don't really care to hear it.

With practice and trial and error it can be possible to take a not-bad selfie without an articulating LCD. This was taken with a Panasonic LX7.
Having an articulating LCD could help. Many cameras lack this. A pretty good one that has it is the Nikon P7800.
It is always a good idea to use the camera's wrist strap, but it is extra, extra important to use it when trying to handle a camera in one hand and that hand twisted around.
When using the LCD to help you aim, glance at it to position the camera, but be looking into the lens as you press the shutter button.

Try the various modes of the camera you have, like portrait mode, close-up mode, etc. You can good selfies with almost any camera. Most little cameras do require good light, so outside or in a well lit room. "Practice makes perfect."

You can take your selfies with a real digital camera then copy the pictures to the computer for image manipulation. When satisfied, install an Android Emulator in your computer then use that to connect to Instagram to upload your fantastically egotistical shots.
