Best insurance companies for an iPhone 4S?
First of all does anybody with have an iPhone 4S with Orange? If so how much does Orange's insurance cost and what does it cover?
Secondly, apart from Orange Care, what insurance companies/services would people recommend for an iPhone 4S? In terms on reliability of the company, cost and exactly what they cover (it needs to cover both damage and loss/theft)
The best insurance you can get is through your bank. Thats what i have
Your best bet is to put $300 in the bank and save it in case you break your phone. Most policies will have a $100-200 deductible which you pay before they give you the phone. In addition, you will likely pay $5-20 per month in premiums. So, after six months you break your phone. They get you a replacement and you pay $200 and have already paid $30-100 in premiums. If you just use the money in your bank you can buy a used/refurbished 4s (or maybe the next gen is available used) and sell your broken one for parts and get $25-50 back.
Just read the deals to see if the premiums + deductible make sense for the value of a used phone.
- Why do some companies assume everyone has an iphone? When they make a new app, for example to check your account balance, they announce it as an iphone app.
- What is the best iPhone insurance? I'm going to buy an iPhone 4s and am trying to compare insurance providers before I invest in insurance.
- What is the best insurance for electronics? I accidentally broke my iPhone 5 screen. While, I've been paying $10 each month for insurance coverage, the Ausrion insurance says I need to pay a deductible of $100 to get a replacement. Wtf, thats HALF price of a new one. This isn't a replacement. It's buying a new one.
