Best way to learn basic XCode?
What would be the quickest way of learning basic XCode (for Mac OS). I'm a computer science A level student, I'm used to programming on VB (Visual Basic), however, this year I will be making an iPhone app for coursework.
Could anyone provide me with a good idea of how to start? Maybe some books and/or websites that will easily teach me basic Xcode.
You could start with Apple's Developer site which covers everything you need.

There are numerous tutorials on the web but be aware that the latest version of Xcode has a different layout from older versions so a lot of the extant material will not be an exact match but can still be used.
Once you are familiar with working in Xcode the Stanford University course is excellent…
- Would playing The Sims in another language be a good way to learn that language? I play The Sims a lot anyway. There's a lot of volcabulary like household objects, emotions, everyday tasks etc This wouldn't be my only way of learning btw. I also have a learning French iphone app and a friend who is fluent.
- What's the best way to learn openGL for the iPhone? I have been reading a book on Teach yourself iOS 6 application development in 24 hours but i have an idea for a game but it doesn't talk about openGL. So i was wondering if there are any good resources (books, websites, PDFs, ebooks) that are a good way to learn openGL.
- What does it mean to be basic? Like a basic white girl? If someone was a "basic white girl" or "basic," what do they do, or how do they act?
- Quickest way to learn a language? My family always makes fun of me because I'm hispanic and I don't speak/understand spanish. My dad speaks mostly spanish but we rarely talk but their was times when he would yell at me because I don't understand him. Is there any way to learn it quickly? IPhone apps? I'm just tired of my family putting me down for it.
