Best way to use iPhone in Slovakia, do I use another sim?
I'm travelling to Slovakia in May for 8 days and am looking into how I can use my iPhone for internet without paying a small fortune. I'm currently on O2 and I'm not sure if my phone is locked to O2.
What's the cheapest way of using my iPhone for internet in Slovakia? Should I get a slovakia sim and phone number?
I think you can get a SIM card over there to use, but I'm not sure if your O2 phone is considered to be locked to oversea networks. Why not ask O2?
- My Iphone says Locked SIM. Why can't I use it with another network? I already ordered an unlock request from my carrier and i received a message that its done I just need to insert another sim card and connect to Itunes. I did it, nothing happens. It says sim locked OK UNLOCK If i go unlock it asks a code. But i don't know what code. Please somebody help me!
- IPhone broke, can I use another smartphone with my sim? I dropped my phone… And the screen started to 'diminish' aka I can't see anything on my screen, however the phone is fully functional. I was wondering, will it work if I insert my simcard (its a microsd card?) into another smartphone? Or does it even have to be a smartphone?
- Can you use another sim card for a verizon iphone 5C? I have an iphone 5c from verizon and i'm looking to go to a prepaid plan, i'm on a plan with a friend and i'm terminating my phone (yes i know about the fee) but i'm keeping the phone. Can i just pop out the NANO SIM card and put in a tmobile one (from a SIM starter kit) or do i have to unlock the phone first? I bought the phone from a verizon store.
- Can you use a SIM from another phone to activate an Iphone? So my sister has an iPhone 4 and she want's to just use it as an iPod, but she can't set it up without a SIM card. Can she use the SIM card from another phone just to activate it, and then put it back in the other phone? Will it mess anything up?
