Black screen on iphone 4 How can I fix it?
I have dropped my iphone 4 many times, with and without a case on it. The screen is cracked just about everywhere except for the part that is actually a screen (the black glass around the clear screen is cracked all over.) i dropped it like 2 feet onto carpet and ironically that broke my screen. Basically my screen is just black, it still works, like i can unlock it, and I can call people back who called me if i swipe the right spot. It still vibrates and rings and everything, in fact my alarm goes off every monday-friday morning which is going to be really annoying cause i get off school in 3 days. Also just some details, when i hit my home button my screen turns an obvious different shade of black, so i know its on, and when i hit the lock button, it goes back to the obviously darker black. And another thing is when i like press hard and the screen is on, i see gray-white discoloration where my fingers are pressing. I'm wondering if there's any ways or sugestion on how to fix this, thanks.
Buy a new screen. I work in a phone shop and we charge £35 fitted for a new screen and top glass.
There's no way you'll fix your current one.
- My iPhone screen goes black and won't come on but if I press the screen you can hear the key bored? I've only had this iPhone for 2days! The screen comes back on after a while nut it keeps going black
- Iphone has white screen black apple logo frozen it occasionally goes black then that screen shows up again screen went red once? I held the home and power buttons and it showed me that the battery was super low with the little red lines hasn't shown me that since now it's just frozen on black apple logo with white background and the screen flickers occasionally i've had it plugged into the wall charging for 2 hours now and still nothing should I go get it looked at by apple or do I just leave it charging longer?
- IPhone 5s screen turned black and I can't see anything on the screen? My iPhone 5s screen turned black without warning, while I wasn't using it. I have the assistive touch icon on and it still shows on the screen. My home button is broken. I can see when I change the volume and I can receive calls and notifications, and I can get to Siri through my assistive touch. I've read that I need to reset my phone, which I can't do while my home button is broken. Please ask for more details if needed.
- IPhone 4s screen replacement has black vertical and horizontal lines. Can I fix this? I dropped and cracked my iPhone 4s's screen so I ordered a new one. I installed the new screen and turned on the phone only to find that the screen will only have black lines going up, down and across. You can see some color coming through from behind the black lines. Is this a faulty screen or is there something I can try to do and fix this? I tried plugging my old broken screen back in and it works fine.
