Blacklisted iphone 4 on metropcs was scammed?

I was wondering if I could use blacklisted IPhone 4 with metropcs. I was scammed out of 150 dollars on atat. It comes up blacklisted and on the T-Mobile Site however metro says it just needs to be unlocked. And T-Mobile representative says it's not coming up when they do it over phone I'm super confused. I paid all this meoney for them to blacklist. It the second I leave does metro and T-Mobile share a blacklisted is there anyway I can remove it please help me I'm clueless

You got scammed, and NO you can't activate it on MetroPCS, because they will check with the company it was originally "locked" to, and find that it is in fact blacklisted for either non payment of the bill, ETF or having been reported lost or stolen.

Only way to "clear" the blacklist, is to find the original owner and have them clear up the "problem", buy paying their bill/ETF or telling the cell phone carrier that it is no longer lost. The chances of that happening of less likely than bats flying out of my left ear on my next birthday.
