Blue speech bubble next to some contacts?
When picking a contact to message on my
iPhone, there are certain contacts who have a little blue speech bubble next to their name. At first, I thought it was people who could iMessage but not all of my iMessage contacts have it. Does anyone know what it means?
It means your already in a conversation with them I think? Thats what mine does anyway.
Blue means they are using an Apple device (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or a MAC computer). Green means they are using another device.
- Why is there a blue star near my contacts phone number on my iPhone? I recently tried calling one of my contacts and the calls go straight to "this person can't receive calls at this time we're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused". I checked my other contacts and none have a star near the phone number. Does anyone know what that little blue star means? (For iPhone 5)
- Why is my Iphone 3G texting bubble blue? I have a jailbroken iphone running on ios 4.2.1 and somehow my texting bubble is blue? Does that mean i'm using imessage or is that the old color for the iphone 3G? Imreally not sure and i would like to know because using imessage would be terrific!
- Why aren't my iMessages in a blue bubble? Usually when iMessaging/texting somebody else with an iPhone, your messages are in a blue bubble. I have a friend who also has an iPhone, but when I text her my messages aren't in blue. Is there a reason for that?
- When creating a message on an iPhone, what does the blue chat bubble thing mean? Whenever I'm sending a message, like creating one, and I type in a person, sometimes a blue chat bubble will come up. What does that mean?
