BMW 535i Bluetooth & Sync Issues?

My iphone 5 was nicely configured and synced up with my BMW 535i car via Bluetooth. I bought new adapter to charge my phone & my music got synced up via USB now. It works fine - but now when I try to use Bluetooth for music - I can't do that. It always shows USB icon beside my phone on navigation window. How do I switch back to Bluetooth from USB? Any help? Suggestions?

BMW hands-free systems are perhaps the most capable in-vehicle cellular systems available today. Whether you choose to use Bluetooth or add an available snap-in cradle, each system is deeply integrated into your vehicle to provide the fullest range of functions and stability possible. Only with the use of BMW compatible handsets with compatible software levels will you be guaranteed trouble-free performance and access to all supported functions.

Select options (in the car) when you are on the "media" page. If it has a "connections" tab select that and make sure the phone is checked for phone and audio. If it's not there, go to telephone and select bluetooth and it may give you the audio option there.

  • Syncing IPhone 4S Bluetooth with 2006 Prius Bluetooth? I just purchased an IPhone 4S and it will not sync with the bluetooth on my 2006 Prius. I have been to my Toyota Dealer who sent me back to Verizon store who said reinstall software on phone, which I did No luck. Any suggestions?
  • Is it possible to pair a Bluetooth dongle with two Bluetooth devices at one time? I have two sofas with inbuilt Bluetooth and iPhone docks. It's possible to pair a phone to one sofa at a time and play music via Bluetooth. If I bought a Bluetooth dongle for my television, would it pair to just one sofa? Or is there a way to pair it to both without having wires running across the room?
  • IPhone Bluetooth won't sync with bmw? - 1 I have a 2006 bmw 3 series and my iPhone 4S with the ios7 will not sync with my car. What should I do?
  • IPhone 4S high pitched whine BMW? When I plug my iPhone 4S into my BMW via a 3.5 mm jack, there's a constant high pitch whine while music is playing. It is no affected by changing the volume on the phone (unless turned right down). It is nothing to do with the cable - I have tried three different ones, including a high quality home cima shielded cable. Why is this and what can I do to stop it? Get apple to replace the phone, or is it the car? Etc. Cheers.
