Breaking up with my girlfriend over instagram?

Me and my girlfriend always used to talk and send random pictures to eachother and it was really fun. Until she got an iphone. Everything she does now is post pictures of herself and stuff to instagram and I don't even have one so i peek on there from time to time and it gets me really upset. She never sends me any of these pictures, in fact she never sends me any anymore:/ but when I ask it is because she is "busy" but it seems like she is able to update her Instagram with a *** ton of pictures everyday. I'm getting really tired of this and I know it may not be that big of a deal but this is the fourth time I've confronted her about it, she says she is sorry and promises to change but she never does. So what should I do? Just ignore it and move on with life or break up with her? I really need help on this one because I feel I may be overreacting and it's not a big deal at all.

She seems kinda phsyco. Tell her that you don't want to be with her unless she stops. If she doesn't change, break up with her. If she does, be glad you talked to her first.

Either you look past the instagram issue, and take the bad part along with the good part of being in a relationship with her, or yeah the relationship will not survive. That is your answer simply put. However, if you want to analyze this and correct the bigger problem, it is more complex than an argument over instagram. It sounds like you are likely driving her away by exhibiting behaviors that are controlling, jealous, not to mention someone who is not keeping their cool. You have to take a step back and give her more space, not be all over her, and she is more likely to respond by getting closer to you and not by ignoring you and keeping her distance. Try to remember this, whether this relationship works out or doesn't (and most don't statistically, but that is besides the point), "absence makes the heart grow fonder". You need to keep your cool more, and change your own behaviors because you can't change hers, that is all you ever have control of in any relationship is the way you behave.
