BT homehub 4 dropping signal a lot, does yours?
I used to be with O2 broadband and never lost signal. However BT Infinity 2 became available and as we can't get cable I jumped at the chance. I got a homehub 3 free and it was ok with regard to not dropping signal but go nowhere near the 64Mbps as quoted so I paid for a homehub 4 two weeks later however the signal drops about twice a day (on iPhone and iPad). I just have to turn Wi-Fi off and back on again once or twice and it usually works however its starting to really annoy me. Does your homehub 4 do the same or do you know how to fix it?
Bt is bobbins. I got stiched up for an 18 month contract. My fault.signal drops all the time.wish i would have gone with virgin
Dude, you are totally me!
I have a BTHomeHub2 and it is only recently that I have been losing signal, or had an extremely bad internet connection. Try this:
1) Power off your router.
2) Wait for 10 minutes.
3) Plug it back in.
If that doesn't work, try moving it closer to your devices. If that doesn't help, try to update the firmware on the BTHomeHub4.
If none of those work, try to do a hard reset of the router. (DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! I'm NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE!)
Sorry for the caps then, but y'know… Gotta tell ya!
Hope I helped!
- Why does my wireless keep dropping? I'm with BT and have a black BT home hub but on my laptop my wireless connection keeps dropping. It doesn't drop on my xbox, iPhone or iPad but it does on my laptop? Anyone know what the problem could be? Maybe even how to fix it
- Why does my iPhone 4S keep dropping Wi-Fi? At my school my phone keeps dropping the Wi-Fi.It'll connect alright but after 5 min it goes back to 4G. Other people have this problem. It only happens here. Anyway I can fix it?
- Why does my iPhone 4 keep dropping Wi-Fi? For the last couple of months, my iPhone 4 has started dropping Wi-Fi even when I'm sitting near the router. I've had it for almost 2 yrs. What causes this? I've had an android phone… Hate the market, and the whole set up. All I was needing to know is how to fix it or if I'm better off using my upgrade for a 4s or 5.
- When someone gives you something, is it yours legally? Basically, my (now ex) boyfriend gave me 2 phones while we were together. One was because i lost one my phones and the other one was a gift. He never mentioned that i would have to give either of them back if and when we broke up. But now we have he is demanding i give them back. He has a perfectly good working IPhone 4S. So do i have to give them back or are they legally mine? Because neither me or my dad have money to buy me a new phone at the moment.
