Buying an iPhone online (eBay)?
I need a new iPhone, an iPhone 6, same as what I have right now. I don't have an upgrade with Apple so it is very expensive. Some eBay ones say they are new and have sold hundreds. Most say the phones are unlocked, I'm not even sure what that means. Are they the same as buying them at an AT&T store like I normally do?
An unlocked phone means it is not tied to any carrier. (You can use any sim) In regards to your question about ebay, try using amazon instead as they are more realiable.
- Why do I have to buy a data plan when buying a Iphone 4s from the apple store online? I'm buying a Verizon Iphone from the Apple store but why do I have to purchase a data plan right now? I planned on waiting until next month and just taking it to a store to get activated. Or is that not possible and i would just have to buy a unlocked phone?

- Is there a problem buying iphone 5 (unlocked) from ebay? I was going to buy the new iphone 5 from Isreal but the price is like twice from america. I checked ebay and they say i could take a new unlocked iphone for 1000$ with free shipping. Is there any problems that could happen or stuff that won't happen (like the simcard won't work or something). please answer. yea and in Isreal it costs 1500$.
- Is it safe by buying from an online dealer? I contacted a online dealer and he said he wuld sell me a new sealed iphone 4s 8gb at 15000 rupees only! So is it safe buying from him is there any fraud in it?
