Calling International Landlines from IPhone?

My main question is for LAND LINES ONLY. I have a lot of family who lives in Egypt, and they obviously doesn't have a smartphone, but seeing as though I call a lot of them often, other than going out and buying a $10 calling card, it'd be great if I can use an app that I can make free international LAND LINE calls. Is there anything like that, these days? Thanks
I have an iphone 3gs
i have spent a lot of money on calling cards and if there was a one time only pay app or something i can use, that would be great to. Any suggestions?

You can use skype to call a landlines, but only in these country's:

http://www.skype.com/...n/premium/

Or try http://www.viber.com/...viber.com/

apart from that there's no way to call landlines unless your family in egypt has Internet.

Hope this can help you

No, from time to time ad supported international call companies pop up, but no one wants to listen to an ad for 10 min of calling, so these companies usually do not last very long.

there are some VoIP services that provide "free days" to certain countries, but the free time is limited, and only as an introduction period, then you must buy credit…

so far one of the cheapest / easiest things i have found was to place the calls thru google voice.
(wow you got an expensive destination 11c/13c for mobile / landline respectively, odd that mobile rate is CHEAPER than landline, usually the other way around)

I do not believe you'll get calls to Egypt for free. But a lot cheaper that for sure.
