Verizon iPhone 5 international use?
So I have an iPhone 5 from Verizon and I'm studying abroad in Spain right now. Right now it shows that I don't have any signal for calls so I'm assuming my phone is locked. Can I call verizon to unlock it of should I get an international SIM card in Spain?
Get an International SIM card from Spain and try it on. You might be surprised to see it work. If still you get no signal, then factory unlock the phone. You can mail this person (arghyle@rocketmail.com) who can help you get the phone factory unlocked.
Hi, I have the same problem, though I bought my iphone 5 in UAE (Dubai) but all attempts to use it in Nigeria was unsuccessful because it keeps searching for network unsuccessfully and Apple online Support is unable to help!
