Camera advice? Looking for something sturdy and affordable for college?
I'll be heading off to college this fall and I wanted something better to capture memories with than my iphone. I looked at the Nikon Coolpix L29, but I really hate that I wouldn't be able to plug it in and recharge it.
I don't need anything particularly fancy, just something that does better than my grainy iphone. I'm looking at around $100-$125 price point. Anyone have any suggestions?
I think you need to up that budget to $180 and then you can get one with a much nicer LCD panel (really important as the basic ones are only a grainy 230k).
This little Canon sx600 for example:

First, you can buy rechargeable AA batteries. The are NiMH and you can get them with a charger.
Second, the camera for you is the Fujifilm S4800. Not only does it have the manual camera controls for when you are ready, but it can shoot in fully automatic mode for now. It has what I consider an essential feature that many other cameras don't have and that is a viewfinder. Plus it shoots HD video and zooms 30x. And all this for around $150.
If you really want sturdy, you have to spend more. Affordable breaks easily.
The best way to save money is to buy a used camera. Have a look at keh.com
If you can push your budget up a little higher, and buy used, then you can get a much better camera than any listed so far.
This for example: https://www.keh.com/332986/olympus-pen-e-pl2-black-digital-camera-12-3-m-p - it's mirrorless interchangeable lens camera with a larger MFT sensor, which is fully adjustable. A real camera for real photography, not a cheap point and shoot.
- WRISTLETS! Good quality and affordable? This is a picture of the Vera Bradley "all in one" wristlet. I think it's perfect because it has a pocket on the outside for my iphone, an ID window on the other side, and card slots on the inside. I love all these features, but I want a black one. Vera Bradley doesn't have these in solid colors, so I was wondering… Does anyone know of a good brand, affordable wristlet that has a pocket for my phone, an ID window, and then a wallet with card slots inside?
- Where could i get a sturdy Iphone 5c charger? I'm having problems with my I phone 5C charger. I've gone through 3 chargers since February they all seem to get a shortage towards the end that goes into the phone does anyone know of where I could get a sturdy charger that would last me? Links please?
- What is the best (affordable), camera to record Football that's held indoor? I first was going to use my iPhone 7 and transfer everything to "iMovie" that's already installed in my phone for a highlight tape, but i was considering getting an actual good camera like a canon or Sony. Any suggestions? MUST HAVE GOOD QUALITY FOR INDOOR
- Suggest me a Camera with external mic input and Flip screen with in affordable price I want to do travel vlog on my own, like with the help of tripod so I want to see my self while vlogging and I want there to be external mic input so that Audio quality should be rich. Please suggest. Apart from that tell me iPhone 6s+ is better for that work or I should buy a camera.
