Can a iPhone get a virus/malware from an infected PC?
I had some Trojans/viruses/malaware on my windows.old folder and I was wondering If I connect my device to my PC-will my device get the virus/malware?
I don't think so. On an iPhone, there's only 1 virus that you could EVER get.
No, one of the best things about the iphone is you can only install stuff on it from the appstore, and all code is reviewed there first, no worries about viruses.
It is possible that they try to copy themselves into your iphone memory. But they can't execute in ios, which means they remain benign at your iphone.
- Will other computer be infected by virus through my iPhone 4 and iCloud? My old laptop (windows) have some virus, but I already delete it. And I reformat my laptop, and I have iTunes and connected to my iPhone 4. So if I buy a new laptop wether it is Mac or windows Will it be infected to a virus?
- Is there an anti virus or malware scan I can get on my iPhone 4? Is there an anti virus or malware scan for the iPhone 4 that I can get from the apple store? If so what's the name? Also is there something I can get to stop ads poppin up on games?
- Is the burn on my arm infected? WARNING: GROSS! I fell asleep with my iPhone charging in bed with me last week… And I woke up with a big red circle that was warm on my arm. It blistered & then popped. It began to scab, but now the whole thing is white-ish yellow & when I put a band-aid on it it leaks a little icky stuff on it. Also it hurts very badly, and I feel like the pain is getting worse!
- If an iPhone somehow got a virus, what would stop that virus from spreading to the recovery image? If an iPhone got a virus, couldn't it just spread to the recovery image? I don't mean where you connect the iPhone to your computer and restore through iTunes. I mean the restore image that is actually on the iPhone.
