Can a metal detector find an Iphone 4 in the snow?
I recently lost my iPhone 4 in the snow and I'm thinking of renting a metal detector to find it. Does anyone know if it will be detectable through the snow? And has anyone tried this before?

Rolled up my phone in a snowman a few years back. Ended up having to wait until spring to get it back. I know that's not what you want to hear, sorry.

Did you find it? I lost my iPhone 6 in my backyard playing with my kids. We have two feet of snow or more. I tried a metal detector but didn't find it. I'm afraid its under packed down snow and making myself sick thinking about it.
