Can a single power point handle this?
I've chosen to tidy up all my cords in my room and to do so I've put a double adapter into my single power point and run a 4 point power board off each of the double adapter points.
Just wondering if it can handle this.
Powerboard 1:
42inch tv
Speakers
Xbox 360
Powerboard 2:
iPhone charger
Lamp
Laptop charger
If you don't plan on using the xbox at the same time as the TV Ok.
If a "power point": is an outlet and is a common one capable of about 1500 watts (15 amps at 120 volts in the USA, more in UK), then you haven't even come close to overloading the circuit - add up the maximum watts printed on the devices. You would have to add a toaster or a small space heater to over load.
If you don'y blow a fuse/ pop a breaker with All running (and I don't see why you would need to run all at once), it's OK.
You would be safer getting rid of the double adapter, and using a 6 outlet board with a breaker. The breaker will pop locally if you overload.
I only see 6 items you have plugged in.
- Will 8GB on an IPhone handle all my apps? I've been looking for an IPhone 4s because my quit on me. The one I have my eyes on has 8GB. I usually download social site apps like Instagram, Facebook, Vine, and every other social media site made. I probably use 3 or 4 a page with a new IPhone with the already installed apps. Will 8GB be enough space for all my apps?
- What wireless router can handle many connections? When all the family is home we can have at most up to 15 devices connected to the router (5 iphones, 2 tablets, 4 laptops, 2 pcs, PS3, and a Smart TV). When they all automatically connect to my current wireless router it becomes very slow. What is a router for about $50-80 that won't get bogged down from so many connections?
- Is an iPhone 6 old at this point? At what point should I get an upgrade? I know it's more on a phone to phone basis, but it certainly does seem that the older generation iPhones begin to degrade as soon as a new gen comes out.
