Can access everything on my iPhone when I plug it into my computer?

When I plug in my iPhone (iPhone 3gs) to any computer, I can access anything on my iPhone via itunes - even though I have a password on my iPhone. How do I ensure that when I plug it in to a computer, itunes will prompt for a password.

Typically when you have iTunes open and you have a passcode lock on it. It should prompt you to disable to passlock or open your phone than iTunes will allow you to proceed. Try downloading the newest software available for your phone, and download the newest iTunes. If that doesent work then call apple at 1800-MY-APPLE
