Can apple replace/repair my Iphone 4s for free?
I want to fix my shattered iphone 4s screen. I dropped it when i was walking with my friends with books, laptop, and a jacket in my hand It's still working(i'm actually typing this down). But my parents don't know that i broke my phone, i don't even know what they'll do if they find out ):. But will apple repair iphones if it's under a year for free? If not, can i get a new one iphone if i have insurance?
No apple won't do it for free. Warranty only covers manufacture malfunctions. You need to pay to fix it out of your own pocket. And insurance to replace an iPhone 4S is $199 deductable. It's cheaper to replace it yourself, by going to a cell phone repair shop
User abuse is not covered by warranty. If a Genius decides to break their policy and give you a free replacement, that's up to them, but very rare.
- Will Apple take back or repair/replace my iphone 4 if I bought it around Christmas? I got it around Christmas since my samsung intensity wouldn't hold a charge unless I had the right charger it liked. So I got the iphone 4 for Christmas because my dad wanted to see how id do with a smartphone. But since it came preinstalled with iOS 6.1.2,(Verizon store) I was wondering if it were to malfunction, could I get a new iphone 4? Or would they tell me to buy an entire new phone?
