Can Apple swap my iPhone 5C even if there's a crack?

I have an iPhone 5c that has the manufacturer warranty. My phone has been crashing/freezing and restarting itself like 1-2 a day.
The reason I ask, my phone was dropped months ago and has a small crack on the top left corner. It doesn't interfere with the compatibility. My crashing/freezing issues occurred before the drop anyway.

So could apple swap my phone even if it has a crack?

Crashing/freezing they might address--if they think it wasn't caused by you. Applecare warranty only covers defects--not damage caused by you. Worth a shot at the genius bar. Best luck.

I have an iphone 5 with a cracked screen and another one with a perfectly good screen but some other issues that made it useless. I wanted to swap the screens on the two so that one that is working gets the good screen but I wanted to know if there's any way apple is gonna find out that the screens have been swapped and void my warranty.
