Can Facebook viruses affect iPhone/iOS (15 points)?
My friend sent me a pic, and I clicked it to see a girl smiling. Then I asked him "What's this picture?" And he said "It's a virus. If you click the link, the link will be sent to everyone through your messages."
It wasn't sent to anyone thank God. But I'm still worried. Can Facebook viruses affect iOS?
Only if the virus is programmed to infect phone operating systems such as iOS (IPhone)
Virus's can't be spread through facebook. They need to access Operating system areas that apps like facebook can't however there's a facebook update released today that is causing system problems for the iphone and for that you just need to uninstall facebook and re-install
No.iOS apps run in a Sandbox. They can't interact with other apps. You would have to give your permission for the picture viewer app to access your Contacts and Messages.
No, as long as it isn't jailbroken then its really hard to infect an iphone as they are very secure, nothing to worry about. You might see spam popup ads on websites, etc, but it won't infect an iphone.
- Will the new iOS affect just the iPhone 5? I have the iPhone 4S and I was just wondering if my phone will be able to switch over to the new iOS.
- How to transfer game saves/points between iOS devices? I recently purchased a new iPhone 5 to replace my 5th gen iPod touch. I transferred all the games I have on my iPod to my iPhone through my iTunes account, but when I open the games on my iPhone, none of the points or progress I have saved on my iPod touch game show up. It's as if I just downloaded the app. Is there anyway to transfer my already earned points or progress in the game on one device to the game on the other device!
- How To Get Fifa Points Cheat For FIFA 14 iOS? I downloaded FIFA 14 today on my iphone and this game is good like old ones. I want to customize my teams so I need more fifa points. Is there any way to get FIFA points?
- How can you remove adware or viruses on your iPhone? Do you have to take it to an Apple shop to have the iOS operating system reinstalled? Or could you do it yourself? Or could you use an Anti-virus software to remove the virus (without having to restore the factory settings)?
