Can I bring my iPhone 5 to S. Korea?
I'm going to study at south korea, i heard that i can't purchase korean number separately there without purchasing the phone?
So what am I going to do with my iPhone? Is it really impossible to buy separate number there?
Contact your provider to ask about international calling and to see if you'll have service in South Korea. They should be able to provide you with the necessary information and help you through the process.
Sure you can. You would have to unlock the phone first, for obvious reasons. Get a prepaid sim card(I think they'll sell them at the airport) for smartphones, and put it in your iPhone. If you're staying less than two weeks, consider roaming.
