Can I buy an iPhone 5s from Verizon through apple?

I really want to buy an iPhone 5s. This will be my first phone so i don't have a contract already and I know the phone hasn't been released yet but I want to know if i can get one through Verizon. I went to their website and all it has is the iPhone 5c and I don't want that. But if you go through apple it has Verizon up there you can pick the GB size and price and the carrier and Verizon is highlighted but duh i can't pay because its not out but i was wondering if I did this after the release can I go ahead and buy it through apple.com and it be under Verizon even if they aren't carrying it yet?

I only want Verizon because it works good in my area my sister had and iPhone 4s by AT&T and she only had service in the living room and by the printer in her room. It was very spotty and bad. And T-mobile and sprint just don't work i live in the country parts of my city (live in Georgia)

When apple releases it, Verizon will probably have it also. It doesn't matter where you get it, however, you might be able to get Verizon to waive activation fees or accessories, whereas apple won't offer deals like that.

It's probably better to purchase it from Verizon just because they do usually give you some sort of bundle and it's easier to deal with your plan that way as far as transferring your data and everything.

They are selling the 5s at Verizon. I'm not exactly sure if they started selling it in stores yet but anyone that orders it in the mail won't get it until they start selling it in the stores anyways so ordering online is actually not going to help you out.

My best advice is to double-check (either by calling Verizon or by searching online) when Verizon stores will have it available for purchase and then just go to the store to buy it.

You can also do a more thorough search for purchasing it from the Verizon website online if you wan't to because it should be in there somewhere but if all else fails you can purchase it through Apple.com. The only thing with that is you'll have to go to the Verizon store anyways to transfer your phone number and data and such to the new phone.

  • Should I buy an iPhone through Verizon? If I don't have Verizon, but want to switch over to Verizon and buy an iPhone, do I have to pay retail price for the phone or the price with a 2-year contract if I get a 2-year contract? Also, how much is JUST unlimited text and call per month, no unlimited data?
  • How to unlock a verizon iphone so i can go through straight talk? Okay. So i go through straight talk, and the guy said that i would have to get the verizon iphone unlocked and get a SIM card for it. I'm just curious how i do this. Somebody told me that I can take it to the verizon phone to the actual Verizon store and they wouold be more than happy to unlcock it. Is this true? Any other way I could unlock it? Or is it even possible?
  • How to play music through two separate speaker systems through an iphone at the same time? My brother is having a party, and one speaker system needs to be at one end of the house, and the other system at the other end. How can I play music from the one iphone onto the two systems at the same time?
  • Can I get an iPhone through Verizon without the data plan? Okidokee. I'd like an iPhone, and my carrier is Verizon. However, is it possible to just get the calls and messaging on the iPhone--not the data plan (3G)? Would this make it $30 a month instead of $40? I really wouldn't use internet that much unless there was free public Wi-Fi, I mainly just want the camera and other calling/messaging features.
