Can I buy an iPhone in the USA and bring it back to Australia?
I wanted to buy the iPhone 5s when I go to America but I don't know if I can bring it back to Australia or what to do?
You can but you will need to buy either a converter plug or a new one in Australia for your electrical current as they are different. Not only the plugs are different so is the current. Your current will fry it if you don't.
New Apple products cost the same everywhere, Apple makes sure of that so why would you want to get it in the US?
I wouldn't recommend doing that. IPhones in the US are locked to American phone companies. The only way you could use them in Australia would be through global roaming, and that would be hideously expensive. Your other problem might also be getting them to work with Australian cell tower frequencies. I suggest getting an unlocked phone in Australia instead.
Sure why not? Most buy it on contract in the US Though so the price you see is a contract price, not phone price only.
