Can I buy an iPhone without a plan?
So I was thinking about getting an iPod, but I really like the iPhone a a lot more so I was wondering if there was any way I could buy an iPhone without having to pay for anything else. I want it to be like an iPod, no sim card or any type of carrier. Is there any way I could buy it and it would just work through regular Wi-Fi instead of 4g? I want it so that once I buy it I wouldn't be getting any letters in the mail or anything having to pay for the 4g or sim card and such. I want it just like the iPod where I buy the device and that's it.
You can buy your phone separately on somewhere like Ebay - get an unlocked one - and then choose your plan separately
Makes more sense, financially & otherwise to get an iPod touch to be an iPod, not an iPhone.
- Is it cheaper to get a new iPhone on a plan or buy it unlocked and add a cheap plan? I can either buy the phone for $250 and pay a monthly $80 plan with data for 2 years or purchase the unlocked phone $800 and pay $30 - $50 a month - I might not get data but it wouldn't be a big deal to me, I'm just trying to find a deal thats not ridiculously expensive cause I can't really afford too too much right now. Which would be better?
- If I buy an unlocked iPhone from Amazon can I use it without a plan? I'm a collage student and was wondering if I could buy an unlocked iPhone on Amazon now and use it as an iPod until I could buy a plan from a provider.
- If i buy an iphone 5s without a plan can i use it? What i'm asking is, if i buy an iphone 5s on apple.com and i get it and everything, can i take my sim card out of my iphone 5 and use it on my 5s will i get service and everything?
- Does an iPhone C need a plan to go with it? Or can I get it without the plan? Me and my parents are looking into getting me an iPhone C and we were wondering if we can get it without the plan with it… Please Help!
