Can I buy iphone 5s from apple store?
I want to buy an iphone for someone as a present but I don't want to have a service plan because it isn't for me. So I just want to leave it to her to have it on her service plan. What can I tell the people working in apple store and about how much will I be paying to be ready with it.
Added (1). Btw I don't want service at all like not being able to use phone or text just as if it was an ipod. I really need to know how much it would cost also.
Apple store will not provide service, there's only one service unit will be there in every city, no matter where you buy they will ask you to visit for service.

You're looking at around $700 for a factory unlocked phone. If you can get a 5 at all. Odds are all they have now is the 4S, 5C and 5S.
- Where is the best place to buy an iPhone 4s: the Verizon store or the Apple store? I don't have an upgrade until January but am looking to buy an iPhone soon. I've been looking at the various sites and saw that there was a huge price difference between the Apple and Verizon stores. A rep at the Verizon store told me I wouldn't even have to change my existing plan, but just pay the $449 for the phone. Why would I buy an iPhone 4s from Verizon for $449.99 when they're sold on the Apple website for $99?

- Should I buy my iPhone at the Apple Store or the Verizon store? The plans and the phones themselves cost the exact same; the difference is the care plan. I just can't decide which one is best for me and I definitely want some sort of plan. Apple care is an upfront cost, but it is cheaper.
