Can I call someone out of state for free? I have sprint?
My girl friend moved to Las Vegas for a soccer program for college to get a scholarship.( we're both in high school) and I live in Cali. I have sprint, if I call her will I get charged more. I can't ask my mom if its free or not cuz my mom never really liked her and thought I stopped talking to her. I have a iPhone 4S which I just bought last Saturday. Will I get charged? I think she has at&t. She has an iPhone as well
Sorry, but although you mention your service provider you don't tell us anything about your plan. Usually, you don't get charged for long distance cell phone calls. However, don't just take my word for it. If you don't know then you might want to ask your mom about it. Don't you think she will notice if your phone has excessive charges or that you are calling the same out of state number over and over?

- Will it show up as a missed call if i call someone by accident for half a ring? So I accidentally called my ex on his iphone, but I quickly realized my mistake and hung up after a half ring. Like you know how when you're calling someone it rings, I hung up after the first riiiing. My question is, will it show up on his phone as a missed call? I tested it out on 2 friends. One iphone 5 and iphone 4. They both told me they didn't get a call. Am I in the clear?
- When texting an out-of-state number, must you put a 1 before the area code? I have an iPhone 5, I reside in Montana and I want to send a text to a non-iPhone user who has an Oregon pre-fix.
- When i call someone on my iphone they can't hear me and i can't hear them why? Well it just happened i was calling my dad like 10 minuets ago and then i hung up and then called him 5 minuets later and i could hear him but he can't hear me for some reason why is that? I'm sorry i meant i CAN hear them but they can't hear me
- Texting someone in another state? I have AT&T and an iPhone with unlimited texting. If I text a friend who's gone down south for vacation (but still in the US) will it charge me extra or pop up on my bill or anything or will it be like any other text and not show up on the bill?
