Can I call the police because of a prank call?

Someone keeps calling me and calling me and on my phone it doesn't give me the option to decline so i pick up and where i live its extremely late at night and they ve called about a dozen times and i'm not over reacting. Would it be a decision to call the police after I've
a) hungup everytime
b)told them to stop calling everytime
c)threatened to call the police

c)threatened to call the police I would call the non-emergency but then again, you really never know with people these days. Is it a house phone or a cell. If you have an iPhone you can block them. I'm sure it's annoying and frightening especially if you're alone, I'm sorry. Hope all is well. If you have a smartphone… Get a blacklist app. Have you tried blocking the number? Contact your carrier. Well i would let your phone company know and keep record of times and anything said. Pick up and tell them that you ARE the police.

This call has already been traced, so I need you to stay on the line or you will face additional charges of interfering with a police investigation. Now, there will be a squad car pulling up in front of your residence in about 5 minutes - I suggest you stay put, and the officers will take you downtown for booking'.
