Can I change iPhone metal frame?
I have a white iPhone 5. Unlike what other people say, I think it's not easily scratched. Because somedays ago I dropped it terribly. I thought it is tottaly shattered, but when I took it, there wasn't a single scratch! But somedays ago my friend dropped it and it hit a sharp place. There's a small scratch or something like that on the metal frame that covers the side surfaces. It's not a big deal but if there are more scratches in the future, is it possible to change the aluminum frame?
You would have to change the entire chassis of the phone as the frame is attached to it.
This is a long process and requires you to remove all the small components and attach it to the new chassis (something I wouldn't recommend)
Be happy its made of aluminum or you would be paying to get the phone fixed.
