Can i flash an Iphone to Metro PCS?

Say i buy an iphone 3Gs, 4 or 4S on

craigslist. Could i simply take it to

metro pcs and flash it to their

service? How much does it cost

to flash it and how much will it

cost monthly?

As long as it's a standared sim card I don't see why not. Don't take it to MetroPCS just buy an unlocked iphone and put your sim in it.

MetroPCS won't allow other phones on their network. But you can get it done online from someone who flashes phones to other carrier. Check online for flashing iPhone to MetroPCS. Make sure you buy the CDMA iPhone and not the GSM one that takes SIM. MetroPCS is CDMA and doesn't take SIM.

I guess you could, but it would have to be a Verizon or Sprint iphone. ( don't fall for those UNLOCKED iphone titles on craigslist, it has to be a Verizon or Sprint one because they are CDMA phones, and Metro is a CDMA carrier)
Metro PCS would charge you, or you could look online for a place around town to flash your phone.
BUT… You won't be able to use Metro PCS's internet or MMS. You would only be able to text or talk on the phone with it.
--If you really want an iphone for a cheap price, switch to Cricket. They are just like Metro PCS, and they have the iphone.
