Possible to flash a sprint iphone 4s to metro pcs or use it on straighttalk?
Wondering if there's any way to flash a sprint iphone 4s to metro pcs? I hear they are both cdma networks. Any info if it works with all things like texting, calling, and data? What about using it on straight talk? Can you just buy that mini sim card and pop it in? I've seen the slot on the sprint iphone 4s. Can anyone give me info on both services? Much appreciated.
As far as flashing it to MetroPCS, yes you can flash it to them. There are services you can find on your local craigslst or on the net that you pay a fee to do it.
For Straight Talk, you just need to get your iPhone 4S unlocked (Sprint will do it for free if you're already out of contract with them) or you can pay an unlocker service to do it (as of yesterday it was made illegal to unlock your phone, but there's no way to enforce it). Then purchase the $15 microSIM from straighttalk.com (the one compatible for AT&T networks), pop it in, set up the APNs, and that's it.
