If it were possible (as would be the case with a GSM device) doubt that you, personally, have the technical knowledge or capabilities or you wouldn't be asking.
And neither carrier is going to do it for you. Both are CDMA which use the decide ID to register the phone on their network. The device ID is loaded for Sprint and will not register on Verizon.

I did it on their web site for their prepaid $45 smartphone plan they gave me a new phone number and the meid shows up in their system when i call them so it can be done
