Can i get a different carrier?
So I've had this iphone 5s for a few months now and I bought it to a guy who has a verizon sim card in it. The service doesn't work, so I was wondering if I bought a straight talk phone card, if itd work?
Verizon phones only work with Verizon.
- Two different computers, two different iTunes.can I use the same Apple ID? I have iTunes on my computer that I use for my iPhone, and my mon just got an iPod Touch and wants me to fill it for her. I'm going to use her computer to do this, which currently does not have iTunes. Once I download iTunes, can I use my own Apple ID to download songs and apps onto her iPod? Is it possible to do that without disturbing what's on my phone, or do I have to make a whole new iTunes account for her?
- IPhone 4S to 4? Different Carrier? My iPhone 4S broke, and my sister gave me her old iPhone 4, which was for Verizon. It has no sim card slot, so if I go into the AT&T store, will they be able to put my service onto the iPhone 4? Or is it carrier specific?
- If I buy an iphone used from another carrier ad buy a sim card from my carrier will that work? I have an iphone 4s with virgin mobile and I want an iphone 5 but all virgin mobile phones are so expensive! I looked on ebay for virgin mobile nano sim cards and they are only around 2 dollars. If I bought one of these sim cards and a used iphone 5 from another carrier would it work with my carrier?
- How could I flash a Sprint IPhone 4 over to a different carrier? My mom has a sprint iphone that she doesn't use any more and I wanted to take it to a different carrier like cricket or something. Would i have to jailbreak it or unlock it to do this? If so, how would i do that? The phone is updated to IOS version 6.1. If it isn't possible would i be able to take it to flash over to revol?
