Can I leave a group message on my iPhone with iOS 9.2?
I keep getting included in these annoying group chats and my phone is blowing up and I just want to leave it, i have it on do not disturb right now but it would be nice if there was a way i could just leave it. And i keep looking up ways and i used to have a "leave this conversation" button with iOS 8 but now i don't
You can turn off group messaging by going into settings and then into messages. There's a toggle switch to turn off group messages.
- Should I update my iPhone 4 to iOS 6 or leave it on iOS 5? I'm currently using iOS 5.1.1 because I didn't want to lose google maps (which I use a lot) to shoddy apple maps but I've seen a google maps app on the app store now so do you think I should update to iOS 6? And what are the benefits?
- On the iphone, how do you take yourself out of a group message? My friend added me into a group message with 8 other people but I'm not interested in the convo. I keep deleting the it but everyone someone says something my phone keeps going on. How can I take myself out of the group message?
- IPhone group message problem Okay, so for some reason my group message is messing up with this one group. I was put in it and it shows each person individually in separate message threads. I can't even reply because only one person would get the message and not the group. All my other group messages are in groups and they are perfectly fine.
- If you delete a group text message on iPhone, will it be deleted from all the people in the group? I've send a text message I probably shouldn't have in a group text to 20 people and I wanted to delete it, but I was wondering if I delete that text, will it be deleted from the other people's phones also?
