Can I put a different iPhone sim card into a new iPhone?
I've currently got an iPhone 4, but soon I'm getting the 5s.
I'm with tesco at the minute, but I might be changing networks.
Will I be able to put my tesco sim card in a new phone that I may have got from orange or somewhere else?
I don't want to lose any of my messages or pictures.
No. IPhone 4 uses Micro-Sim. The iPhone 5s uses the smaller Nano-sim.
No. The phone would have to be unlocked if that's what you want.
Backup the phone & restore from that backup when you get the phone 5s.
- Would it be okay to put a Vodafone SIM card into a new Iphone X? I'm thinking about buying a sim free Iphone x then putting my current vodafone sim card into it. Would this cause any problems or eould it be okay? Id have to buy a new SIM card contract the year after, but I don't mind having to do that.
- If I put my SIM card into new iPhone will messages me there? My iPhone broke and I should be getting a replacement one, And so my question is if I put my SIM card into a new unlocked iPhone WILL NEW MESSAGES BE THERE? Like messages that I receive while it is broken.
- If I put my old SIM card into my new iPhone will everything still remain the same? I just want my number to stay the same and my tariff/package that I pay for every month to stay the same? Need a bit advice, I currently have an iPhone 6s at the moment. I'm not too fussed about keeping all my photos etc cos tbh most of them are on Facebook but as long as my number and monthly package stays the same that's all I'm bothered about
- If I put my iPhone's SIM card into a different iPhone, will it work? I have an iPhone 4 and the vibrate stopped working. My dad just bought an iPhone 4 and it has no SIM card yet or anything. It's just at the factory settings. Can I put my SIM card into that phone? Will I have all of the same contacts and things? Will it still work? Then can I give my dad my iPhone and he can buy a SIM card and set up his plan on that phone?
