Can I put any sim into an iPhone 5?
I found an iPhone 5 in my basement from recent tenants who never came back for it. They moved to Florida so I plan on keeping it. When I try to go pass Wi-Fi Settings it tells me that I need to insert a sim.
If I buy a StraightTalk, AT&T, Etc Nano Sim from Walmart or Amazon will it work?
If the phone is unlocked then you can use any sim. If it's locked to a carrier then you have to use that carrier's sim. If the phone is reported lost or stolen then you can't use it at all because it'll be locked and unfunctional.
- I broke my iPhone 5s and got an iPhone 4s. Can I put the SIM card from the 5s into the 4s? My iPhone 5s got wet and I fried it when I tried to turn it on so it is shot. I bought an iPhone 4s as a replacement and I was wondering if I can put the SIM card from the 5S into the 4S so I wouldn't lose contacts, messages, ect. Has anyone tried it? Will it work?
- Can you take an iPhone SIM card (sprint) and put it into another iPhone and it will work? My brother completely destroyed his phone. It's sprint. Can I buy an unlocked phone? Or do I have to buy a phone from sprint?
- Can you put a T-Mobile Android Sim card into an iphone? I have a mytouch 3g, but would like an iphone, yet I have contract with tmobile… I'd like to buy an iphone from ebay and, I'm wondering if I can just switch the mytouch simcard into the iphone… Is this at all possible?
- Can you put a cut sim card into the old sim card slots? I have an iphone 5 and my sim card is cut down to fit into it. I want to be able to use my sim in my old nokia brick phone as well though because i'm attending a heavy metal festival next week and don't want my expensive iphone to get wrecked in the mosh. Just wondering if its at all possible.
