Can I swap my standard sim for a nano sim?

I live in the UK and am currently on orange. I have a blackberry so use a standard SIM card but am getting an iphone but want to keep my contract. If I go into an orange/ee shop will they swap my sim overtones a nano sim?

Yes they will cut it down with sim cutter…
Any local mobile selling shop can do this.

  • Is there a nano sim to regular sim adapter? I want to get an iPhone 5 sometime in the future but for now I'm just going to keep my Samsung Infuse which takes a regular sim card. I used to have Straight Talk but they throttle data, so I'm going to go with att. I want to just get a nano sim card from them and buy an adapter that will let me use the nano sim card in my Infuse. My question is, is there an adapter that exist and will the nano sim card work in my Infuse?

I want to know that when you insert the SIM card in the iPhone, is it suppose to show the signal & say HOME, or just say no service, & also I have not put any minutes or active it yet because I called straight talk & told them & they said verizon iPhone five will not work, & how come some people say it does work?
