Can I take my contract sim out of my iPhone and put it in another phone?
Basically I want to take my sim out of my iphone (I'm on contract) and put it in another phone, is this possible and legit?
Yes, as long as the new phone works with a SIM through your plan, you can switch it.
Well if the sim fits, then you can. Because the SIM card is what has the memory and account information on it. Not the phone itself. So it really doesn't matter. As long as it fits and is compatible with the phone you out it in
- What happens if i take the sim card out my iphone 5c and put it back in? I just got an iPhone 5s from a friend but it didn't have a sim card, when I reset it i couldn't set it up without a sim card so i want to use my cousin's. I think that if i take it out then some of her memory might be deleted but i'm not sure.
- If I buy another iPhone, will my sim's contract continue on that phone? I'm looking to buy a new iPhone (I currently have a 5s with 16GB). Long story short, I've had 32/64GB on every Apple device I've owned as I take plenty of photos/videos and having 16GB simply isn't enough. I've got a contract for my iPhone (unlimited data/texts, 500 minutes) which I want to keep. I want to buy another iPhone (with 64GB), so if I put my sim inside the new iPhone, will my contract continue on the new phone and it would be that simple? Or?
- If I buy an iphone 4 can I take the sim card out of my old phone and put it in? If my phone is unlocked and I put a sim card from my old phone into the new phone do I still have to pay for internet
- Can you take an iPhone SIM card (sprint) and put it into another iPhone and it will work? My brother completely destroyed his phone. It's sprint. Can I buy an unlocked phone? Or do I have to buy a phone from sprint?
