Can I track the last place my iphone has been right before the sim was switched?

My iphone 4 was stolen a couple days ago, I haven't had the access to be able to try and track it yet but i do know about it not being trackable after the sim has been takin out and switched. My question is can i see where it was last right before the switch? Or will the switch wipe out my whole tracking history? I also wanna kno if its possible for me to still have access to track it if its turned on but the sim is out (not switched but completely no sim)?

Lucky for you the iPhone 4 does not have a SIM card. Apple only started utilizing SIM cards in the 4s and later. However, in order to utilize the Find My iPhone feature on your phone, your phone would have to be powered on. So if it's been a couple of days chances are you're out of luck unless someone found the phone and happened to charge it and attempt to use it.

  • Will the dry rice method still work for an iphone if it has been switched on? I dropped my phone in water and immediately took it out, dried it and turned it on to see if it worked. The phone worked but there was no sound so i googled what to do and i found the dry rice method but it said that you shouldn't turn on your phone but i did (maybe for ten mins?) so i turned it off and put it in a bag full of rice. Will the sound go back to normal because i turned on my phone? Should i put in the bag of rice with the back removed and battery exposed then?

I know about the apps you can get on your phone but unfortunately i didn't have them installed on my phone. i heard about some website where you can just put in your serial number and it will show you where the ohone was last turned on any help would be awesome apple and my provider service can't do much.

My iphone has been acting up over the last few months, when I click 'contacts' it says I have none, but I can still find them when I type their name into the search bar, and it also does the same thing for photos, and now I struggle to connect to the Wi-Fi unless i'm within 10 feet of my wireless router.
