Can I trade in or sell my iphone before my contract with att ends?

I've grown bored of the iPhone and the screen size, so I was wondering if I can trade my iphone into AT&T or sell it and get the htc one for $99 or will I have to pay more?

Well you could sell it, probably make around 200 bucks, and then pay 500-600 dollars for a new phone instead of 700-800. Or, you could trade in to ATT and they'd probably give you like 100 bucks (max) off your next phone. Your best bet would be to either wait, or actually cancel your contract, pay the extra fee, and then reopen a new contract and get the HTC One for $99.

My brother won't be renewing his contract… And I don't know what I'm gonna do:/ if he gets off the contract would I have to pay even more money every month?
