What happens to all the photos etc on my iphone after my contract ends?
I'm with O2 and my 24month contract is finished next week. I've chosen not to continue with o2 as I'm giving my mum my phone and she will use her own o2 sim. So what happens to all my photos, videos, apps etc on my iphone 4s? Will everything still be there, just won't be able to phone or text?
Yeah everything will still be there. The are stored on the phone itself rather than on the sim card, so changing sim will have no affect.
They're yours. They'll be there. You need to transfer them to your PC or iCloud. Then disconnect your Apple ID from phone. That way you can put your photos apps etc. On another iPhone. Then hard reset the phone to erase it clean. Shouldn't have to change sim unless different carrier.
Fine, all is stored on the internal phone memory. I do recommend for safety since anything is possible with backup and cloud. Follow Hugo recommendation backup and transfer them to your PC or Apple.
Everything will be save on your iPhone. If you afraid losing them, you can follow this guide to copy the files from your iPhone to computer for backup first. Or you can also use itunes to make a backup of it.
