Can I un-restore an iPhone 5c?
I have read a lot of these questions, and the answers all say no unless you have them backed up. I accidentally reset my mom's iPhone and everything was deleted, and she didn't have anything backed up. I feel 100% terrible, especially because she had pictures from Rome that were like a once in a lifetime kinda thing. Are you absolutely positive I can't get them back somehow?
Nope. Unless you backed up everything it is impossible. Sorry. In future situations always back up your phone. My photos are all saved to my Icloud, Google Drive, My Mac and my phone so I can never lose them.
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
- Is there a way you can restore an iPhone to the settings of another iPhone? Like if you have an iPhone and someone else who lives in your house like in your family has an iPhone too, can you restore it to the settings of their phone, so you have all of their music, photos, etc. On YOUR phone? Or is this not possible yet?
- If you disabled FindMyiPhone to restore your device, will the app be enabled again after the restore? A few weeks ago I upgraded to the iPhone SE and I restored the data from my iPhone 4s onto it. (I had to disable FindMyiPhone in the process). Little did I know that it would be lost/stolen 2 weeks later. Really need to know if FindMyiPhone would be enabled because I want to know if I still have any hope at all finding it. Thanks. I tried the app already… Says it's offline. Been waiting since.
- If I restore my iPhone will it restore other devices using the same apple ID? My mum using the same apple ID as me an is worried that if I restore my phone then it will delete all of her photos and stuff to. Our phones are kind of linked through the ID but that's all.
