Can I update my jailbroken iPhone 4 version 4.1?
Ever since I've had my phone, my uncle jailbroke it for me and so I tried updating it after that one time but it deleted everything. So after that I didn't update it anymore which is why I have such an old version. Would I be able to update it now to version 5.1.1 without losing my stuff including the jailbreak? Cause I heard that you just need to wait for there to be a jailbreak update or something like that?
If you updated you lose everything so if you want to keep your jailbrake i would not updated
- My jailbroken iPhone 4 can't connect to SIM-card after update? The title says it. I have a jailbroken iPhone 4 and as I plugged it into my computer it asked me if I wanted to update the IOS. The updating-process went smoothly, but when I started the phone afterwards it said that it was unable to connect to my SIM-card (that i bought 2 weeks before this). Does anyone know how I can unlock my iPhone?
- Is there anyway i can update my jailbroken iPhone 5 to ios 7.1 without losing any of my music? All my music is from mewseek and other cydia apps and i want to update my iphone but i don't want to lose my music.
- Is an iPhone better 'jailbroken' or not 'jailbroken'? I just got the iPhone 5 and I keep hearing about 'jailbreaking' iPhones to be able to do a lot more things. So my question is: Is jailbreaking an iPhone bad? What kind of cool things can I do if I jailbrake it? How do I jailbrake it, if its a good thing?
- In the middle of an iPhone update and my iTunes won't recognise my phone in order to continue to update. Can I stop the update now? Neither the computer nor iTunes are recognising my phone and I've been working on his for an hour, I want to stop the update so I can go to bed, how can I do that? It's only at the stage where it has a symbol on the screen of the iPhone cable linking to iTunes
