Can I upgrade my iPhone 5s in the apple store if i did not buy it there?

I bought my phone around last year when the iPhone 6 came out, I want to get the 6s. I bought my phone at Boost Mobile, can i go to the apple store and ask for an upgrade and pay the difference?

Boost Mobile will be where you will need to upgrade/tradeup, the phone. Apple store will only upgrade phones they sell, unless they are running a promotion to upgrade any iPhone, no matter where it was bought.

But in any case, if the phone is not fully paid for, it is unlikely that anyone will allow you to trade up, unless that is part of their upgrade or trade in policy.
