Can I upgrade my iphone on pay as you go?
Iphone on payg
As in get a new one from the provider? No you can't.
No, you would have to either sell it and get a new one or go on contract. They don't give phones out or upgrade them on pay as you go due to the fact it isn't definite that you will keep topping it, and you could basically get a free phone, if mobile providers did that they would go bankrupt as they'd be losing millions of £'s worth of mobile phones.
If your network shop has the phone you want available on payg then yes there's no problem. You just need to pay the price they are asking (usually 1/3 of actual cost) plus any top up charge they might require. If you want to keep same number that can be sorted at same time but might cost a bit extra.
- When do you pay the upgrade fee for an iPhone? I know it's $36, but aside from the $199 +tax I'm going to pay, do I have to pay the upgrade fee right away or does it show up on my next bill?
- What can you do with n iPhone if you don't pay for phone service? Can you do everything else (connect to Wi-Fi, download apps, etc) except call/text and be able to access the internet? Does it basically just turn into an iPod Touch?
- Verizon upgrade fee? Can I pay at the store or do I have to pay it the next bill? I plan on upgrading my phone and renewing my contract next month in January. I plan on getting the iPhone 5s. I'm on this family plan with one line. Is there's an activation fee that I have to pay? Can I pay the upgrade fee at the store while purchasing the new phone? Or do I have to pay it on the next bill?
- Is pay as you go better than pay monthy for an iphone? I can either can an iphone 4 (32gb with small scratch on screen) for 100 pounds and then have a pay as you go sim or an 8gb iphone 4 for "effectively 14.88 a month". Which works out the better deal?
