Is pay as you go better than pay monthy for an iphone?

I can either can an iphone 4 (32gb with small scratch on screen) for 100 pounds and then have a pay as you go sim or an 8gb iphone 4 for "effectively 14.88 a month". Which works out the better deal?

That really depends how long the pay monthly contract is. If it is for 24 months, then you'd be better off buying pay as you go but if it is rolling month, then the contract works out better.

You really need to do some basic research before you go into the Orchard.

Imo the days when iPhones were a must have commodity finished in 2009.***

The IP4 is TWO DAYS away from being discontinued on release of the IP5S. Apple only support LAST 3 iPhones, discontinued means no longer sold by Apple, any future upgrades are for supported phones some new apps just WON'T WORK. IT WILL GET IOS 7

On 12/09/2012 IP5 announced IP 3GS DROPPED, like the year before IP4S IN, IP3G OUT. No maths 10/09/2013 IP5S IN…

I want an iPhone, it may be the cheapest when compared to other iPhones but to invest any money in an OVERPRICED device is a waste as in 2 years you will be using a 5 year old device that came out in 2010 and was the FIRST iPhone to have camera flash!

Many have already upgraded from the IP4 in 2012

There are newer phones much better phones and they cost a lot less, giving you more than the 8Gb on the IP4, you should look at eg Sam Gal ACE II or the Lumia 620 for phone with a secondary camera microSD expansion Wi-Fi, GPS, DUAL CORE.BLUETOOTH MEDIA TRANSFER (Sharing) which no iPhone even the IP5 has plus NFC here are the specs, only if these phones are Gold Plated will it come in above the IP4 http://www.gsmarena.com/...hone2=5147

***It may burst your bubble, the facts are that each iPhone is an upgrade on the previous iPhone but leave the orchard and you realise that Apple are YEARS BEHIND. Many simply have better products which cost less.

In October 2010 IP4 released 7 months later.
The Samsung Galaxy S II (2)was released in MAY 2011 & has 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor with an 8Mp camera.

18 months later November 2012 Apple puts a 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor & 8Mp camera in a phone and call it the iPhone5

That the IP5 costs MORE THAN an S4 is mind boggling as the S4 is Quad Core and has a 13Mp camera
