Can I use a Sprint iPhone with Verizon?
My friend wants to sell me his iPhone 5, but his carrier is Sprint. I'm on Verizon.
Is there any way to change carriers on the iPhone 5 from sprint to verizon?
How do you unlock a AT&T GALAZY3 Samsung cell phone when you forgot pattern and or code
Same CDMA signal, but answer is still NO. Sprint doesn't unlock their phones for use on another domestic carrier. Won't until Feb. 2015. SIM doesn't matter. No unlock, no can use. Best luck.
Both Verizon and Sprint phones use the old CDMA system, which requires that the identifier for the phone itself be registered with the network in order to use it. There's no SIM card, although many phones also allow for use on GSM networks with a SIM card. That won't help for use on the home networks of Sprint or Verizon, though.
- Can you use an At&t, Verizon, or Sprint iphone 4s on Virgin Mobile? $549.99 seems like a lot for an iphone 4s, and i can find cheaper ones on craigslist. So do you need to have the actual iphone 4s (for virgin mobile) to use their service?
- Can you use a Sprint Iphone 5 on Verizon's network? I live in sacramento and have limited connection with my iphone 5 only getting 3G on sprint. I want to know if its possible to use Verizon's network on my iphone. If not can I end my contract because I only get 3G half the time in sacramento.
- Can I use the sim from a Sprint sim activation kit on my iPhone that's already locked to sprint? So my sprint sim card recently got lost and I just reset my iPhone and as you iPhone users know you can't set up your iPhone till you have a sim, and sprint doesn't sell just Sims so I was wondering if I order a sprint sim activation kit for my iPhone 7 plus that's locked to sprint will it work as a regular sim?
- Can I use sprint iphone for with the contract up as a sprint prepaid? My IPhone 4 that I have with sprint is currently up to renewing my contract but instead of getting locked into a 2year.contract can I use the same phone as a prepaid sprint phone. I wasn't sure because I had heard no, that you had to buy the iPhone for a prepaid plan but I have also heard since its the same carrier I should have no problems using it as a prepaid phone.
