Can I use a T-Mobile iPhone 5?
I plan to buy a t mobile iPhone 5 from my girlfriend. Her step-dad still owes $500 on it. He plans to cancel his service with t mobile though. If he cancels the service and I buy the phone from him will I be able to use it once I take it up there to transfer my number? Is there any possible way it would not work?
It should work as long as your using t mobile.
It should work. If you are on T-Mobile yourself you could just swap the SIM after he cancels the plan & it would work fine.
If you are on another carrier you would have to see about getting it unlocked.
- Reuse T-Mobile cut-to-use-for iPhone SIM card back to regular T-Mobile phone? Is that possible? My SIM card has been cut to fit on iPhone but I'm going to sell it next month to go back to regular T-Mobile phone. I still have the cutout piece from original T-Mobile SIM Card. Can I re-attach micro SIM to original T-Mobile card and use it on new T-Mobile phone, or would I have to buy the new SIM card and activate it again on pay-as-go-plan?
- If I can buy a iphone 3 from somebody, can i use it with T-mobile prepaid? The former owner of the phone who is selling it says that they used it with T mobile on the prepaid and on the 2year plan. Would it still be possible for me to use it on the prepaid plan if I got a plan of my own through t-mobile?
- If I buy an iphone (not from the boost mobile store) can I connect it to boost mobile? Lets say I buy an iphone that isn't connect, will I be able to get it within the boost mobile network? Or is their more to it
- Can you use an At&t, Verizon, or Sprint iphone 4s on Virgin Mobile? $549.99 seems like a lot for an iphone 4s, and i can find cheaper ones on craigslist. So do you need to have the actual iphone 4s (for virgin mobile) to use their service?
